- Must be able to lift, push or move a minimum of 60 pounds
Performance and Abilities
- Capable of working independently and on teams
- No written reminders in the last 6 months
- No safety violations in the last year
- Must successfully complete Lockout/Tagout training
- Must successfully complete Electrical Safety training
- Must have, or be able to obtain lift truck license
- Able to work overtime, as needed
- Must have and maintain good attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Technical
- Ability to perform work requiring knowledge of electrical: wiring specifications, local and national electrical codes, principles of operation and application of electronic equipment as required
- Ability to repair and maintain all Auxiliary process equipment such as: conveyors, elevators, compressors, air lines, lift trucks, batteries, building electrical, water, HVAC, tape machines, banders, glue guns, checkweighers, stretch wrappers and balers
- Ability to upgrade controls and program PLC’s is desired
- Ability to service manufacturing and test equipment by checking, testing and replacing faulty components
- Ability to service and repair hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical equipment
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
Safety
- Insure safe working practices are followed
- Perform Safety inspections
