National Exercise With Your Child Week runs August 4-10th. This week is all about inspiring parents and guardians to encourage their children to grow up being physically active and healthy individuals.
What better time to get started than this weekend. Kids need 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous active play every day. Take 15 minutes a few times a day or get it all in at one time, either way, get the kids outside the house. This small gesture will pay dividends the earlier you start by providing a solid foundation for healthy habits kids will use the rest of their life. So, if you have been thinking about changing things up, feeling like you need to play more with your children, or getting some exercise yourself – go out and grab some Little Tikes. Our toys were made to have fun while being active and playing together. With a wide variety of toys and items to fit any age, skill, or budget, you can’t go wrong!
FYI, as if you need any more inspiration, 1 out of 3 children are considered obese.  Over the past three decades, childhood obesity rates in America have tripled. One could attribute this staggering statistic to the increased use of electronics in the household. More TV, video games, tablets,  cell phones, etc… are leaving a void in your child’s regiment. Little Tikes can be the remedy to take the focus away from the screen and back into real life!
